Cusco front strut bar - torque specs???
Hi, I'm looking to install this strut bar but can't find the torque specs for the nuts on the tower...any advice is greatly appreciated.

Suspension mods underbracing question?
Morning. First post here. Got a question about all the choices when it comes to under bracing and sway bars. I want to try and improve the way the wagon handles. Not street racing the thing but I do enjoy spirited driving. There are tons of different options and I have no idea which ones I need or their order of importance. Any help would be appreciated. In the parts descriptions they all seem to do similar things leaving me a little puzzled. Funds are not endless so achieving a great ride...

OBD2 Interface without an Android
I've found lots of good resources here about disabling the backup beep with a bluetooth OBDII device, but I don't have access to an android phone. I have a windows 7 laptop. I've seen this question asked, but not yet answered- has anyone been able to modify these types of settings without an android? If so, which device do I need to do it?

Next up, another gadget I bought from the Japanese Market that I have not seen anyone talk about here. This is a small device marketed as a 'Safety Add-on' that plugs into the OBD-II port (a diagnostics port under the dash just above the pedals) which adds the following functionalities to the vehicle:

Appropriate Replacement tires for 2012 v five? (p215/50 R70 90W)
I had a flat tire, that got damaged on the sidewall after some driving. The tire shop where it took for flat repair said that tire is not usable, and he suggested buying a pair as a replacement instead of one.
The original Toyo tires from the dealership cost $285 each, which sounds way too steep for two.
Any suggestions on how to go about choosing replacement tires for the right fit, fuel economy, treat wear, etc.? I am considering a Michelin or Bridgestone brand from Costco...don't have...

Sound deadening for the v
I have read many comments that some people think the v is too noisy at highway speeds but I have seen any discussion on sound deadening mods. You'd think there would be an aftermarket engine "blanket" that would mount to the inside of the hood. That would help a lot, wouldn't it. I know there are generic products that you can lay on the floor under the carpet.
I have seen only one thread where an audiophile in Austin did this as part of a $2700 upgrade to make his v a rolling sound...

Prius v OEM led DRLs
Just bought the V 3, very happy with it so far but disappointed it didn't have DRLs. the Asian market V has LED DRLs in the lower part of the front turn signals, just the the new regular Prius. There is a actually an empty area at the bottom of the signal light if you shine a flashlight in the lower part. Anyone figure if we can get LEDs and wire it up in there? Thanks!

After Market Wheels
Im interested in changing out the wheels on my 2013 Prius V 5 Blizzard White. I currently have the stock wheels and tires (215/50R17). I have a few questions on keeping the same tires (only 9k miles) and buying new wheels :
1. What online store should I check out?
2. What happens with the TPMS? I'll reuse the same monitors in the new wheels. Does Toyota service have to get involved?

replacement tires for Prius v that I like
I run Yokohama YK 580 215/50 on 17" ENKIE RPF1 rims, the lightest I could find.
The Yoks are V rated B/C I live in the Mojave Desert and need the high heat rating when bopping along at 75 - 85 mph.
These tires have Yokohama's "Orange Oil Compound" for better wet weather traction and fuel mileage.

My new LED DRLs are NICE!
I installed new CREE Led DRL lights below the chrome grille bar and they look great plus those CREE bulbs are BRIGHT. They make the car look classier, IMHO. Got 'em from JDM Toy.

Uncomfortable Prius v Driver's Headrest
Love the Prius v except for the Driver's seat headrest. It pushes my head forward. Uncomfortable!!! I am not interested in driving around with a pillow behind my shoulders. I want to modify the headrest pad. Turning it around offers no support for a whiplash.
Does anyone have any ideas on modifying this headrest pad? Has anyone does this?

Sound deadening
I'm buying spray-on sound deadener for all four doors. Remove the inside panels and unstick the plastic vapor barrier then spray the inside of the steel door, avoiding window and door handle mechanisms and electrics.
I did it on my '95 Maxima years ago and it worked well. It is MUCH lighter than adhesive sheets, but only half as effective.

LED replacement question
I've replaced my map and roof lights with LEDs but I can't find the shorter size LED for my door bottom courtesy lights. The OEM light says #25 on it. Is this the bulb size?
